Reese, a frail and malnourished dog, was found on the streets of Patterson in a condition that left rescuers shocked and heartbroken.
Despite her dire circumstances, Reese’s will to live and unwavering spirit inspired those caring for her to do everything possible to save her life.
Her journey to recovery was not an easy one. Reese was rushed to Orodell for emergency care, suffering from dehydration, starvation, and severe weakness. But even in the face of such immense suffering, Reese fought bravely for her life.
Despite the toll that long-term starvation had taken on her fragile body, Reese’s spirit remained unbroken. She continued to fight, taking her first steps and exploring her environment cautiously but eagerly. After a month of recovery, Reese left the hospital and began a new chapter of her life in a loving foster home.
