Trying this trick is really a piece of cake, as you will only need a few bay leaves and a baking sheet. Before trying this trick, however, we recommend that you go ahead and clean the oven, as this remedy is only able to remove bad odors inside, but not to descale and clean it. Next, take the oven tray and cover it with baking paper, then scatter a handful of bay leaves on it. After that, place the baking sheet in the oven preheated to 356 °F and leave it for at least 15 to 20 minutes, so that the bay leaves can release a fantastic smell that will not only stay in the oven, but will expand throughout the house!

Another very effective trick is to use baking soda, which is known for its ability to neutralize bad odors. We remind you, in fact, that this product can also be used to absorb odors in the refrigerator! So, pour 2 cups of baking soda into a bowl with water and then place it in the oven at 356 °F. After that, wait a few minutes so that the water can evaporate and the baking soda can absorb all the odors in the oven, and voila: the smell will be just a bad memory!

This may seem like a rather wacky trick, yet it proves to be very effective in absorbing the smell from your oven. What are we talking about? The apple trick! Start, then, by cutting an apple into slices and place them, then, on a baking sheet covered with baking paper. At this point, turn on the oven setting it to a temperature of 356 °F, place the baking sheet inside and leave it for about 15 minutes. Finally, turn off the appliance and all you have to do is open the door: you will notice that the apple will have absorbed any bad smells and your oven will even smell good! Finally, let’s look at one last trick to remove bad smells from the oven after cleaning it: the bread trick!  So, soak a piece of stale bread in white wine vinegar, alcohol vinegar or apple cider vinegar and place it in a bowl. After that, place it in the closed oven that has been previously preheated to 356 °F degrees for 15 minutes and leave it overnight. The next day, remove the bowl and you’re done!
