Mexican taco lasagna

 

 

Mexican taco lasagna is made with taco meat, layers of tortillas, and lots of cheese. This dish is the perfect blend of Mexican-inspired ingredients, and it freezes, too. It is an easy dish to prepare for the whole family!

This recipe is creamy and delicious. The great thing is that it tastes like a huge burrito. Be sure to serving it with sour cream, salsa, and guacamole for a Mexican treat. We love Mexican-inspired cuisine and have a whole collection of them on our blog.

*ingredients

1 lb. mince meat

1 pack of taco season

1/4 cup of water

1 can finely chopped tomato and hot pepper, drained

1 box of nacho cheese soup

1/4 cup sour cream

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

12 soft 8-inch tortillas

Guacamole, cilantro, sour cream for garnish of your choice

*How to make :

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9″ x 9″ baking dish with nonstick spray.

Adding beef to a large skillet over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Skim off the fat when it’s well cooked.

Add taco seasoning and water to skillet and cook 2 minutes.

Place tomatoes, cream cheese, and sour cream in a medium mixing bowl. Stir in cooked meat.

Place 3 tortillas in bottom prepared baking dish. Cover with a third of the meat mix.

Repeat layers end with tortilla layer on top. Sprinkling cheese on top.

Bake for 20 min.

Serving sprinkled with chopped cilantro, guacamole, and additional sour cream, if desired.
