It all began when a team of dog rescuers received a distress call about a poor puppy in desperate need of help. Upon reaching the location, they were met with a heart-wrenching sight – a tiny, forlorn puppy with sad eyes and mangoworms wreaking havoc on its delicate skin.
Mangoworms, parasitic larvae of the Cordylobia anthropophaga fly, had infested the puppy, causing not only physical pain but also emotional distress.
